The topic of this course in Spring 1999 will be:

Multiuser Detection for CDMA Mobile Communications

The course will be held in English. The course will be based on the book:

S. Verdu, Multiuser Detection, Cambridge Univ. Press 1998.

The prerequisites for the course are the subjects covered by the following courses:

S-38.211 Signal Processing in Communications I (Signaalinkäsittely tietoliikenteessä I)
Tik-61.138 Signal Estimation and Filtering (Signaalien estimointi ja suodatus)
Tik-61.145 Basics of Digital Signal Processing (Signaalien digitaalisen käsittelyn perusteet)

The seminar will be held as an intensive course with some home and MATLAB exercises (see below).
